Which is right?

My dear Amma,

Does everything happen only by your will? I have doubts on this point, wondering if all the good is your doing and all the bad is mine. But that does'nt make sense to me,Amma. That feels like ego too, when I take credit for certain things even if they are the 'bad' things. Surely, good or bad, they are all yours, Amma? Or all mine.

Sometimes I feel I am an actor in a play, and playing a part. You are the director and the playwright. So right or wrong, good or bad, is not of my choosing. It's what you, the playwright have chosen for the enjoyment of the audience, which also is You. My role as the actor is only to play the part , without getting emotionally involved. Even in scenes which call for emotion I should act the emotion, not become really emotional, because that will affect the next scene.

Of course most of the time I forget that I am only an actor and start to feel that the role is who I really am!

My love disagrees when I tell him that everything is your doing, nothing really is mine. But my heart tells me that that is the truth, Tell me, Amma. Which is right?
