Teasing

My dear Amma,

Today I was really upset with my love, because he sent me a couple of photographs of actresses he admires, telling me the women looked stunning in them.

It really took me aback, when he said I too had done something similar , since unfortunately I know that is true. I also remembered the many times I told him things to indicate that someone or the other found me attractive. This was done to tease and provoke him, and I really only thought of it as harmless teasing.

How insensitive and mean that was. Amma, teach me to be real and true and to stop playing around with people and lives and feelings. I hardly realize that I do it, but now I have understood I do it, I want to stop. Help me, Amma, please.
