My dear Amma,
Sitting here half asleep with my laptop, I listen to a crow cawing outside my window. As I listen, there is silence. After a while I hear it again, fainter this time and from further away. This past week, I've been thinking of the beach a few times, suddenly feeling a deep longing to be there, feeling the clean and cool, salty water sand under my feet, listening to the sound of the waves.
Amma, in the sound of Nature, I think it's easier to hear You. Because the voices of my mind and all the other voices in my head drop away and bring me in contact with the Universe, which is You, Amma. Let me be with You through all of today, Dear Amma.
With love and gratitude,
From your loving daughter,
Vidya
