In limbo

My dear Amma,

Today I felt strange. I'm trying to get started with some writing, believing that is what you want me to do. Is it really, though? Or am I simply coming up with assumptions?

I'm feeling a little lost, not really sure about what is happening and what I need to do.

This evening my son's girlfriend was talking about the promotion and pay hike she has just got. I was happy for her but my self esteem was not in good shape. She's a kid making huge sums of money and I, I lost the job you gave me and in a strange state of limbo right now.

What should I do, Amma? Tell me, please. It seems so improbable that I can actually write something worth reading, that would earn me money and recognition. My language is very basic and my creativity zilch. Help me, Amma. Please, please. I badly need your advice and counsel.

I'm waiting to hear from you, Amma. I know you will make it as soon as you possibly can.

With love and gratitude,

Your loving daughter,

Vidya

  1. Dear Vidya,

Everything happens in life according to the events lined up in our life line. We simply can not beat the time of occurances.

You were born way before your kids's kid! So there shouldn't be any comparison.

Imagine a big elephant and its baby elephant running between her legs under her huge body. Do you think the big girl cares what that tiny little 'thing' does? Its a 'show' and she enjoys that.

Treat everything as 'Show-Time' hereafter and start enjoying the show. Its like sitting infront of the TV and watching a program. All the scenes change continuously but the TV and YOU stay there (remains constant). You can not be a part of any scene in the TV program that you watched & enjoyed. Always remember, You are in the audience seat not on stage and you will never be on stage so you dont have to worry what happens on the stage. Just sit tight, relax and enjoy the show.

Btw, are you getting a little bit greedy in spite of loosing your job & pocket money (not an income!)? Only for those who feel it as 'income' should know how to treat the money preciously and worry about loosing it.

Amma gives everything and takes everything too, if we dont appreciate and show our commitments towards keeping it and maintaining it upright!

Now, can you tell whether your kid or kid's kid or anyone else that you know of in your family are capable of doing what you could do and get Amma's personal touch and blessings?

You are special and let it that be very special to those you love. If you want to realize it for yourself please get on your feet and start walking. You will see the real world waiting to explore in various dimensions and perhaps, that is the world Amma truly created for you to explore and enjoy.

    Om Sakthi
