Blessings

My dear Amma,

Of late, you have been showering me with a constant stream of blessings; a constant shower of your grace.

Admittedly some of those blessings came disguised as problems when they first came to me. It appeared like all the woes of the world had descended on my shoulders and I was left shaken and crying.

I prayed to you and asked you to solve each problem for me; to just take it away. That did not happen, but after a while I could see the jewel in the heart of the problem; the gift you were sending my way. And I was left feeling very grateful for what I had tried to avoid just a short while ago.

This morning a fresh 'problem' came my way. Amma, my mind was telling me it should feel frightened and burdened; it was wondering why it was'nt; and all the while it felt strong and free and grateful for the new gift.

Thank you for being with me always, Amma. I know it is you that is giving me all the strength,courage and love I feel within.
