Thank you for the precious gift you gave me recently, allowing me to be there with you, on your birthday.

Amma, it is time for me to stop being so selfish. You have given me so many, many blessings.There is nothing more for me to ask.

With this horrific quake and tsunami in Japan, we all see the pain and suffering of millions of people, and how courageously they battle on.

Please bless them Amma, with your Love and your Grace and help them bear all the pain. You are Mother of the whole Universe; let everyone realise that and feel the joy and security of being your children.

It's been quite a whie since I last wrote to you, and meanwile have got to visit you twice.

Amma, you are giving so much love and peace. Everything is your doing, that much is plain.Nothng happens if you do not will it to.Everything happens as you will. That knowledge brings immense peace and acceptance. Am finally beginning to understand that the mind can be one's best friend or worst enemy. And it is only by accepting that it cannot battle you, only by submitting to you, can the mind truly be at peace.

My dear Amma,

Yesterday was a revelation. While leaving the house, the key jammed in the door and left me stranded outside for a good half an hour. A little while later I got trapped in the ATM I frequently use! It needed my love to point it out to me. There is no 'me' and therefore nothing in 'my' hands. Everything is really Your doing, therefore no worries. All is perfection. That realisation brings immense peace and happiness. Whatever happens is Your doing and how can that be anything less than perfect?

My dear Amma,

To completely surrender heart and soul to you, how blessed must such a person be. Because it does'nt appear that we can decide to surrender. The act of surrender is in itself a gift that only You can give.

Amma, Your gifts are all around. Why is it I often do not see them, and ask you for more and more? My mind is still unsteady, sometimes happy, sometimes sad. I try now to see everything as your gift, Amma. Today is a sunny and peaceful day, a soft breeze is blowing through the open windows and there is birdsong in the air. I am blessed to be here and alive. I'm beginning to get a glimpse of why we need to live in the moment, rather than drift away into the past or the future. Thank you for this moment, dear Amma.

My dear Amma,

Thank you for calling me to come and visit you yesterday. That made me really happy, and the day itself was exquisite- being with You and receiving Your Love and blessings.

You did'nt give me answers to any of the questions I asked, but indicated that I should come back another day when you would reply. So I understood that the time is not yet here.

Was thinking of what you once told me, that there is some work that I need to do. I still have'nt been able to understand what it is. Amma, please help me to tune in to your frequency and listen to whatever it is you are saying. Am trying hard to achieve that, but like everything else, only You can make it happen.
